Testimony of Sister Jayanthi Moses

Sister Jayanthi Moses (Wife of P.K. Moses)

I was born into a Christian family.  My parents belong to church of South India.  I used to attend the Sunday service with my sister and brother. Apart from the Sunday service we were very regular in attending the fasting prayer, the all night prayer and the gospel meetings.  Though I prayed in the meetings and taught Bible stories for the children in the church, I had not accepted Christ as my Savior completely.  One day when I was with our church gospel team in a village, the Lord spoke with me during a gospel meeting in April, 1988.  I was involved in proclaiming the gospel with our church team by distributing gospel books, tracts and prayed for the sick.  Then I was baptized in water by immersion and started living the Christian faith.

Testimony of Sister Esther Rani

Sister Esther Rani Shanmugam (Daughter of Samuel Shanmugam) with Joy Miller during the 2011 India Trip

I was born in a Christian family, though I heard many words of God many times.  I was not able to understand and accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into my heart.  One day when I was eleven years old the Lord spoke to me through Proverbs 28:13. I confessed all my sins to the Lord and committed myself to Christ.  When I was fifteen years old I got immersion baptism by Pastor Ike on May 21, 2009 at Coimbatore.  I do share the gospel and about Jesus to my friends.  I request your prayer for me to live in Christ and all my friends to be saved.

Editors Note:  We received word this past Fall that Esther Rani has been struggling  mentally and they are consulting with a Doctor.  Please pray for her and the believers.

Testimony of Sister Sarah Rajan

Sister Sarah Rajan (Wife of Paul Rajan) with Joy Miller during the 2011 India Trip

I was born in a Christian family and and learned to love Jesus Christ more. I used to pray everyday, attend Sunday class and worship regularly.  I attended many gospel meetings and conventions with my family and completed reading the whole Bible when I was in ninth grade.  I had ambition like taking of baptism, taking part in communion and covering my head when I was sixteen years old. But my parents rejected my ambitions and plans because I was confessing my sins.  When I was twenty-three years old I took fasting and read a Christian magazine.  The Lord spoke to me through Proverbs 28:13 about forgiveness of sins and repentance through that magazine and I committed myself to the Lord on the day.  I got immersion baptism on May 19th, 1989 and had an opportunity to attend a Bible college course. Now I do the work of the Lord among the children and women with my husband.  The Lord keeps me as a witness in this world and gave His ministry to me.  I thank our Lord for this opportunity and request your valuable prayers for our ministry in India.

Testimony of Sister Mrs. Lakshmi Shiphrah

Sister Mrs. Lakshmi Shiphrah

I was born in a Hindu family as the third child to my parents.  I was a disobedient to my parents till the age of twenty and married a man without consent of my parents.  When my eldest son was eighteen months old, my husband left me for another woman.  I was living alone in my house because my parents had not accepted me.  I was threatened by the family of my husband and I was told about Jesus by a pastor who visited our village.  I started to believe Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior in 2005.  The Lord spoke to me in prayer and gave peace in my heart and my husband returned to me.  During this period, my second daughter was born and then my husband left me again for another woman.  I went to my parents and continue my prayer for my husband.  Mean while I got the opportunity to serve in the orphanage run by Brother Paul at Coimbatore and got immersion baptism on May 21, 2009.  I live with my children in the orphanage with the hope that my husband will return back and accept our Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.  Praise be to the Lord.
