Update on the Ministry in Myanmar : January 2017

Myanmar Mission Trip

This Saturday, January 14, 2017, Pastors Ike Graham and Bryan Maley leave for Myanmar accompanied by Pastor Bryan’s son, Braiden. This trip from January 14-26 seeks to accomplish the following:

  • Put together a more detailed plan on how we can plant churches together in tribal locations where there is no Gospel witness and no local churches. Pray for this to become a reality. As you pray, pray that the government of Myanmar will open its doors to foreign missionaries.
  • We will also be teaching at Dai Bible College. Brother Naing Bu is President of the College. You may remember him and his wife, Pam, from Conference. We will be teaching on how to know God’s will for your life and where God wants you to serve. We will also be teaching on how to prepare for ministry. Pray for these teaching sessions.

  • Then, we will be traveling up into the mountains of Mindat for the annual Conference of the Brethren Churches. There, Pastor Ike will be teaching homiletics to the pastors. We will also be participating with them in Communion and having a baptismal service for those not yet baptized by trine immersion. Below is a picture from our trip last January.

  • Please also pray for good health, safe travel and, most importantly, for the Holy Spirit to accomplish His work in the heart of each listener.
