The CGBCI has received a request to teach Brethren distinctives to a fellowship of Plymouth Brethren churches in Myanmar. As a result of this request, the Foreign Mission Panel is sending Pastors Ike Graham and Bryan Maley to Myanmar. Josh Miller of the Orrville Grace Brethren Church will be accompanying them.

Update on the Ministry in India : November 2015

ODISHA Issues:

November 2015

Brother Paul and Brother Simon from Jharkhand visited the church planting locations in Odisha (Golamunda, Umarkote and Semala) in October. This was an unannounced visit because we (Pastor Ike included) had received reports against the church planters in Golamunda in particular.

I (Pastor Ike Graham) am happy to report that the accusations were false. Apparently, some jealous and disgruntled men in Golamunda were trying to cause problems for the ministry there and so they made up accusations and even e-mailed them to Pastor Ike Graham. Nevertheless, such false accusations and rumors can harm a ministry deeply even when they are false. Maybe you have seen this kind of thing happen in the U.S. through the mainstream media.

Consequently, all the church planters will be convening in Coimbatore on November 28th in order to discuss how to best address this situation. They will have a day of prayer and discussion. These accusations have affected the other men as well since they are all part of the same Fellowship (CGBCIndia). They ask us to pray with them. Following are some of their prayer requests:

1.   For safety and smooth travel as the men go to Coimbatore to pray and seek God’s wisdom regarding the false accusations on Nov 28th, 2015.

2.   For the Children’s homes run by CGBCI and for God’ leading in shifting Agape Home to another location.

3.   For the congregation at Coimbatore to have a separate church building.

4.   For the cook at Agape home who was injured last week by falling on a piece of metal. The metal penetrated into his stomach and surgery was necessary. Pray that God will grant healing.

5.   For Brother Munisamy’s health. He has been suffering from fever for fifteen days. He is a little better now.

6.   For evangelization at the new vocational training school in South Tamil Nadu.

7.   For Medical Evangelism and Hospital ministry to be launched as per the will of God.

8.   For the ministry in Kandiyaperi.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support. Financial support can be sent to:
