Update on the Ministry in India : September 2015

Sept. 2015 (1)

The man in the picture being baptized is Samuel. Samuel is one of 4 church planters who were baptized on August 15th. These men, Samuel, Alfred, Stephen and Velusamy were all baptized in the presence of Brothers Paul, Moses and the Agape Home staff and children. Two of the men, Samuel and Alfred, are from the suburb of Coimbatore called Palladum. The other 2 men, Stephen and Velusamy are from a tribal village outside of Coimbatore up in the mountains.

These men attended the CGBCIndia Conference back in May and were instructed in the meaning of trine immersion and threefold communion. They participated in threefold communion. They then went back to the churches that they are leading and explained to them what they had learned. At some point in this process, they all decided that they should be baptized by trine immersion. Brother Munisamy from Pondicherry is the one who baptized them on August 15th.

Samuel’s teammate in the ministry in Palladum is Brother Alfred in this picture below.

  • Please continue to pray for Brother Paul. He is still in the midst of a controversy in the Technical College regarding the student who cheated on an exam. Pray for the Lord’s clear leading in his life.
  • Please continue to pray for Gilbert as he continues to prepare for a medical ministry in Tamil Nadu. Pray that we, as a Fellowship of churches, will know how much and in what way to be involved.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support. Financial support can be sent to:
