TWO IMPORTANT PROJECTS:
The apostle Paul had Dr. Luke. Brother Paul has Dr. Gilbert! Above, Dr. Gilbert is giving physical exams to the boys at Agape Home. Gilbert has graduated from Medical School and is now employed at a hospital in Vellore.
On July 2, 2015, the CGBCI Foreign Mission Panel endorsed the self-support project for India. This is an attainable goal at $1,000 per month over the next 18 months. If you can help by contributing to this “Self-Support Project,” over and above your regular financial contributions to the ministry in India, then please mark your special gift, “Self-Support Project,” and mail it to the address below. We have already received $500 toward this project. This will enable the men to create a source of income while at the same time carrying out the ministry full time.
We were also challenged at Conference with the “Macedonia 120” Project. Pastor Steve Burns said: Most American Christians give to their church and to mission ministries from their excess. We pay our bills, purchase our desires, plan for retirement and then give to the Lord out of what we have remaining. Our Lord continues to bless the foreign mission ministries in Cameroon, India, Kenya and Uganda. Soon we will have missionaries in Papua New Guinea. To meet the growing financial needs is going to take sacrificial giving on the part of the Conservative Grace Brethren. What would happen if 1,000 Grace Brethren would give $10.00 per month above and beyond our present giving for missions? If we were to follow the example of the churches of Macedonia (2 Cor. 8:1-5), who from their deep poverty gave beyond their ability to support the saints, $120,000.00 more per year would be available to support our church planters and to help send the Noyes and the Swensons to Papua New Guinea. What would you need to sacrifice in order to increase your monthly mission giving by $10.00? A Starbucks coffee per week. A dinner out per month. A golf game per month. Cable TV. Faster internet? Only you can decide what must be given up in order to give beyond your present giving. Are you willing to trust the Lord to supply your needs as you give sacrificially, so that God’s Word can be proclaimed around the world? By God’s grace, will you commit to give $10.00 per month for CGBCI Foreign Missions over and above what you have been giving for the next year, July 2015 – June 2016?
If so, mark your gift “M120” and give it through your local church or send it to:
