Updates on the Ministry in India :: October 2013

COIMBATORE, TAMIL NADU

Prayer Meeting1

The last weekend of September, the church planters in Tamil Nadu met to pray for the ministry there and in Odisha and for us here in the U.S.  Realizing that we are still $3500 short of our quarterly goal, they also made this a matter of prayer.  In recent conversation with Paul (far right above), I asked him if the Practorium in November in Odisha might be cancelled if we send no funds.  This was his reply:  “No, it will be held at any cost, we in our church will offer a part of support for my travel and I will spend my salary savings ($200) for the trip. God willing I will send some deposit for the conference venue in next week.

Prayer Meeting2Notice the printed pages on the table in the picture to the left.  One of these is Dr. Whitcomb’s tract on Global Warming.  The other sheet is a Gospel tract which they have created and had printed.  They will be distributing these in their respective areas of ministry and evangelism.

Prayer Meeting3In addition to the church planters, the children of Agape Home also joined them in their day of prayer.

Please also continue in prayer for these children that God will continue to raise up faithful, effective servants for His glory and for the ministry in Tamil Nadu.

Recently, Brother Joseph Surya sent us pictures of 4 believers who were baptized in Umarcot, Odisha.
