Temperatures in Odisha were reaching 122˚ F each day. Water was becoming scarce. About 3 years ago, 2 water wells were drilled, but those wells were not supplying all the needed water. The CGBCI Foreign Mission Panel and the Brethren in India sought the face of God concerning this problem. Through resources that God’s people provided, funds were sent to India to drill 3 water wells. One in each of the places where the church planting teams are working. Paul contacted a man in Tamil Nadu who drills water wells and he immediately went to work. The wells are drilled already and the men, their families and the communities have water! It’s a great praise! Not only are our Brethren supplied with water, but these wells are made available to the surrounding communities. It provides open doors for evangelism and hinders the persecution of believers by those opposed to the Gospel. God is good…all the time. Amen?
Pray now that God will prepare hearts for the next trip to Myanmar and India in May 2013.
Pray for the Noyes, Covers, Joshua Steiner and Pastor Ike Graham.
